When in doubt, spoof use “The Hangover” movie to promote your product in Las Vegas.
That’s what did the Notre Dame football program did for its Shamrock Series jersey reveal for its game against the BYU Cougars at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas Oct. 8.
In a four-minute video, Notre Dame enlisted head coach Marcus Freeman along with defensive lineman Isaiah Foskey and tight end Michael Mayer to display the jersey with the gold trim in a scene spoofing a funny segment of “The Hangover” when there was a deal in the desert and the two sides showed up in separate cars.

Adding to the video’s comic delivery were the father-and-son Golics — Mike Golic Sr. and Jr. who met Freeman, Foskey and Mayer in the Las Vegas desert to exchange the bag with the jersey for the cash — a parody scene from the popular movie.
Even actor Ken Jeong who played a central role in The Hangover enjoyed the video spoof on the Irish jersey.
