Technically speaking, the front offices of the NFL Las Vegas Raiders and WNBA Las Vegas Aces are separate operations.
But Mark Davis, who owns both teams, does have a certain building at his disposal to help promote the Aces.
Namely, Allegiant Stadium, which has a giant exterior screen on its east side promoting upcoming stadium acts, sponsors and the Aces.
“See you at the house,” blares the Aces promo on the the stadium exterior that faces Interstate 15’s tens of thousands of cars every day.
Davis has also used the domed NFL stadium for other Aces events, like when he introduced Nikki Fargas the Aces team president in May 2021. Here’s a pic of Davis at that occasion:
The Raiders stadium is a high-profile platform to promote Davis’ Aces.
But the two business staffs are separate.
It’s a different model from Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley’s approach.
The VGK owner created the Foley Entertainment Group to have staff operating the Golden Knights in addition to the The Dollar Loan Center arena in Henderson that he runs and that arena’s tenants like Foley’s Henderson Silver Knights minor league hockey team and Vegas Knight Hawks of the Indoor Football League.
Here’s Foley and his crew at the arena in Henderson. Foley is third from the left:
Davis’ Raiders are practicing at their headquarters in Henderson this morning, while his Aces are in Chicago tonight for a special in-season exhibition game against the Chicago Sky.
Davis also building a new Aces training center on the site of the Raiders HQ in south Henderson.
