Construction For NFL Draft Theater Behind High Roller Wheel, Red Carpet In Bellagio Fountains In Full Motion On Las Vegas Strip With NFL Event 10 Days Away

Hope the people of Las Vegas are ready.

About half a million NFL fans people — 300,000 to 600,000 — are expected to pour onto the heart of the Strip for the NFL Draft April 28-30.

The epicenter is Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, where both Caesars and the Bellagio will be playing host roles.

On Monday morning, LVSportsBiz.com visited the construction scene of the NFL’s “Draft Theater” east of the High Roller observation wheel and next to the Caesars Forum convention space building.

This is what it is supposed to look like inside the theater structure under construction:

The Draft Theater, this airport hangar-looking structure, is on the east side of the Strip.

Meanwhile, on the west side of Las Vegas Boulevard over at Bellagio, crews were busy installing a platform into the famed Fountains where players will walk a red carpet.

We visited that site by bicycle along Las Vegas Boulevard to provide the video above the byline.

Keep in mind the bulk of the NFL Draft fan activities will be at activities behind the Linq and High Roller in areas that will be filled with activations, tents and interactive games like running the 40-yard dash and kicking field goals.

How to get to the NFL Draft site?

LVSportsBiz.com recommends RTC express buses from five satellite locations, besides ride shares and the Las Vegas Monorail. Or find a quiet street away from the Strip and just walk over if you want the exercise. LVSportsBiz.com will be bicycling over, but it’s unclear where the bicycle racks and lockup area will be for the NFL Draft.
