The National Football League continues to embrace Las Vegas by opening a retail store in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace Jan. 15.

The retail operation will include licensed logo gear from the league’s 32 teams. The NFL-theme store will be a place for the league to launch products and host NFL player and talent appearances.

It’s part of the  180-degree turn in policy regarding Las Vegas for the NFL, which once looked at Las Vegas as off-limits because of its gambling economy.

But no more. The NFL is holding its Pro Bowl all-star game at Allegiant Stadium in early February and will stage its draft event on the Strip at the Bellagio Fountains and Caesars at the Flamingo Road intersection in April. And recent news of Las Vegas hosting the Super Bowl in February 2024 was heralded in the Las Vegas market.

Legends, the sports marketing and hospitality consultant company, is working with the NFL on the launch of the retail store in the Caesars shopping mall.

“Legends is proud to continue our partnership with the NFL to create a unique, immersive retail experience in Las Vegas that is sure to become a destination for football fans,” said Dan Smith, president of Legends Hospitality. “We have designed a store with the fan in mind, offering exclusive products and customization options as well as special in-store events that will provide something for fans of all ages.”

Caesars is a strong sponsor of the NFL and the Raiders,  becoming the Raiders’ first founding partner at Allegiant Stadium in 2018. Caesars Entertainment is also the NFL’s “Official Casino Sponsor” and is an “Official Sports Betting Partner” of the NFL through its newly launched sports betting offering, Caesars Sportsbook.

The Killers band celebrated the Las Vegas Raiders‘ inaugural game at Allegiant Stadium with a halftime show from the Caesars Palace roof during Monday Night Football Sept. 21, 2020. Raiders-Saints game was on both ESPN and ABC.
