Las Vegas Motor Speedway Attracts About 45,000 For Sunday’s NASCAR Race During Las Vegas’s Super Sports Day

Perhaps the Las Vegas Raiders game Sunday won the attendance checked flag with nearly 60,000 fans at Allegiant Stadium Sunday, but the South Point 400 NASCAR race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway finished a strong second in attendance with about 45,000 Sunday.

Denny Hamlin won the race and earned a spot in the Round of 8 before a crowd that watched Hamlin win the race under the lights.

The Speedway, in the north part of the Las Vegas metro area, hosted an event that was part of an amazing day of sports in the market.

The Vegas Golden Knights announced attendance of 17,077 for its preseason game against the San Jose Sharks  at T-Mobile Arena.

The Raiders said their attendance was 59,311 at Allegiant Stadium.

 

Even the Las Vegas Aviators were in action on Super Sports Sunday in L:as Vegas with 6,084 fans at their ballpark in Downtown Summerlin.

The Golden Knights return to action for their second preseason game when the Colorado Avalanche visit T-Mobile Arena tonight for a 7 PM exhibition match.
