Raiders Preview: Chargers Come To Las Vegas For Thursday Night Football

By Alan Snel of LVSportsBiz.com

The Raiders’ stadium playing field looked a bit worn and ragged Thursday, just four days after the Las Vegas football team played the Indianapolis Colts Sunday.

The field looked in good condition Sunday. But take a look today.

The playing field sits in a retractable tray that slides in and out of the stadium. It typically sits outside on non-football days and can be seen by walkers along Polaris Avenue on the west side of the venue.

A holiday cake for Allegiant Stadium — below a screen showing a six feet COVID-19 message. Such is life during a pandemic.

LVSportsBiz.com is here at Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders vs. the Los Angeles Chargers. On Nov. 8, the Raiders defeated the Chargers, 31-26, surviving a final play  that nearly was called a touchdown pass for Los Angeles.

Like last year, the Raiders were 6-4 after 10 games. In 2019, the Raiders lost five of their final six games to finish 7-9. This year, the team has lost three of four after 10 games and sit at 7-6 entering tonight’s game.
