Those famed Raiders tailgating parties were not allowed for the Las Vegas Raiders’ first game, but the team does have a special tailgating deal for Sunday’s Raiders vs Patriots game in New England.

Season ticket holders received an email pitching a $400 deal and $500 for a VIP experience: “Are you looking for a place to watch the Las Vegas Raiders take on the New England Patriots on Sunday, September 27? Look no further than the Las Vegas Raiders Tailgate Zone! Enjoy the excitement of a Raiders game adjacent to our new home – Allegiant Stadium!”

The $400 tailgate deal: Access for (1) vehicle with a maximum of (5) guests. Guests will have access to two parking spaces so that one is dedicated to tailgate space, while the other allows for maintaining social distance with vehicles alternating.

The location will be equipped with a large LED screen for game viewing as well as a main stage with Raiders special appearances and performances. A signature food & beverage package is also included.

And the $500 VIP: “Ticket includes the items listed above in the Tailgate Ticket Package but will guarantee a front row seat to the action with premier viewing of the large LED screen and main stage! Ticket includes access for (1) vehicle with a maximum of (5) guests. A signature food & beverage package is also included.”

The deal is a Raiders’ revenue-making pitch in the age of a COVID-19 pandemic, when fans are not allowed to attend any of the eight home games at Allegiant Stadium.
