Jon Gruden likes the vibe in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Raiders coach discussed the Raiders’ new headquarters and training center in Henderson, which is about three miles east of Interstate 15 and about 10 miles south and east of the team’s new stadium.

During a media session, Gruden discussed the change of being in Las Vegas and the team’s new base, which is across the road from the Henderson Executive Airport.

“Yeah, there’s a different vibe. This is a great facility. Certainly, it’s exciting to have the best you could ever ask for from a facility standpoint,” Gruden said.

“I think the vibe is different because we have a unique cast. Hopefully you get a chance to watch the practices and meet these players individually. We got some good guys here. We have some really promising young players and we have the right kind of guys leading them from a veteran standpoint. That’s probably what I’m most excited about right now.”
