The NFL Las Vegas Raiders and NHL Vegas Golden Knights have contacted season ticket holders to inform them they have more time to pay for ticket deals in light of the COVID-19 virus pandemic and its financial impacts on the ticket buyers.

On Sunday, the Raiders emailed season ticket holders with this message Sunday:

And apparently the Vegas Golden Knights sent a similar message to season ticket holders after fans commented Tuesday about this on a Facebook VGK fan page.

There were more comments to this VGK fan’s post:

In this strange new time where the unknown can make anyone anxious, professional sports teams are walking a delicate tightrope between contacting fans to fill them in on team activities and backing off for a while to give them the space they need to cope with the front end of a pandemic that has lots of folks on edge.

The NBA, NHL, MLS and MLB are shut down and even UFC President Dana White cancelled fight shows scheduled for March 21, 29 and April 11. President Trump said Monday people should avoid groups of 10 to slow the spread of respiratory virus infections.

People with the coronavirus might not even know it because you might be infected with COVID-19 but not show symptoms. And with problems of access to diagnostic tests, the actual number of people infected in the U.S. and the scope of the health crisis are difficult to pinpoint. That’s why federal health officials are urging people to stay away from crowds and stay in their homes as much as possible in response to the pandemic.
