Raiders Post First Episode of Stadium Construction Video Series

The Raiders have posted the first episode of a stadium construction video series narrated by Dirty Jobs’ Mike Rowe.
The series is titled, “From The Ground Up.”
The first episode outlined the importance of the Raiders having complete control of the stadium’s 64-acre site west of the Strip on the west side of Interstate 15, owner Mark Davis’ desire to have the stadium architecture look like a sleek. modern sports car and Mortenson construction company and McCarthy Building Companies teaming up on the 31-month, build-design project.

The episode features Raiders president Marc Badain; Tom Blanda, the development and stadium operations chief; Don Webb, chief operating officer; and officials from Mortenson, McCarthy, Manica Architecture and HNTB architectural firm.
“It is a product of our broadcast team, they’re doing a great job with it. Not sure what the total number of episodes will be, we’ll tell the whole story from start to finish,” Badain told LVSportsBiz.com in an email Thursday.

The stadium is scheduled to open in July 2020 after a Nov. 13, 2017 groundbreaking. The next stadium authority board meeting is Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. at the Clark County commission chambers.
