Las Vegas got the fever.

 

The Stanley Cup is a now a series win away and the Vegas Golden Knights have everyone in Sin City thinking championship.

 

Part surreal, part miracle, part what’s-good-about-sports.

 

It means the first fans showing up at City National Arena Sunday morning picked up their practice bracelets at 7 a.m. for a Golden Knights practice that begins at 11 a.m. later this morning.

 

That’s four hours before practice begins.

 

The first fan — other than the pee wee hockey players and their parents who were there to use the rink — said he had arrived Saturday at 6:40 a.m. to get a wrist band for yesterday’s 11 a.m. practice.

Practice is 11 a.m. at City National Arena Sunday so get there early. Capacity is about 600 and security is serious about keeping the bleachers safe and the steps clear. Here is the sign greeting City National Arena visitors Saturday at 11 a.m.
