The images of hockey fans fighting on a T-Mobile Arena concourse Monday were startling for one reason — I didn’t talk with any Vegas Golden Knights season ticketholders who can recall seeing fans fight at Golden Knights games before last night this season.
Golden Knights fan Kyle Johnson posted a video on Twitter showing two Golden Knights and a Anaheim Ducks fan mixing it up at T-Mobile Arena after the Ducks defeated the first-place Golden Knights, 2-0, before the season’s second biggest crowd. Johnson supplied his video to LVSportsBiz.com

“Just seen guys start punching each other then off duty metro officers grabbed them and held them,” Johnson said to LVSportsBiz.com.
The fight caught the attention of Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz, who told LVSportsBiz.com, “I am aware of the incident that took place last night and we are working with the T-Mobile Arena security and local authorities to identify those involved. “
LVSportsBiz.com contacted Golden Knights fans about fighting at T-Mobile Arena and they said they don’t recall any fights between VGK fans and visiting teams’ fans.

The fact is many visiting teams have thousands of fans at T-Mobile Arena for Golden Knights games and typically the sportsmanship among home and visiting team fans is rather good.
But not after last night’s game.
