Golden Knights Jerseys Selling For $34.99 At Costco Sold Out In Few Days

By ALAN SNEL

Several days before the Vegas Golden Knights took the NHL by storm after two games with a pair of 2-1 wins, Costco customers in Las Vegas and Henderson who like the Knights knew a deal when they saw one.

Costco members at the Summerlin store gobbled up hundreds of Vegas Golden Knights jerseys that were selling for $34.99 — a mere fraction of the $120 it costs for a VGK replica and the $180 for an authentic one at the team store only a mile down the street at the Knights training center off South Pavilion Center Drive.

These $34.99 Vegas Golden Knights jerseys at Costco Summerlin were gobbled up in a few days.

A Costco worker at the Summerlin store said today that some 500 Golden Knights jerseys were snapped up in three days, while the same jersey lasted only a day or two at the Henderson Costco.

Now, the Costco in Summerlin was selling a hoodie Sunday for the same $34.99 price.

With the jerseys gone, the selection is down to the hoodies at the Costco Summerlin.

The Golden Knights play their historic first regular-season home game Tuesday evening at T-Mobile Arena.

The replica jersey at the team store at City National Arena down the road from Costco Summerlin is more than twice the cost of the $34.99 jersey.

The Golden Knights had Sunday off after the team defeated the Dallas Stars, 2-1, Friday evening in the franchise’s first-ever regular-season game, with winger James Neal scoring both goals. Last night it was Neal again supplying the game-winner as the Knights beat the Arizona Coyotes, 2-1, thanks to Neal’s overtime-winner.

The Coyotes will get another crack at the Golden Knights Tuesday night in the team’s regular-season home-opener. StubHub has hundreds of opening night tickets, including the least expensive at $78 for a standing room only ticket.
