Golden Knights Send Fans Attending VGK vs Minnesota Game Monday COVID-19 Instructions For T-Mobile Arena

The Vegas Golden Knights have specific instructions for fans attending Monday’s VGK home game against the Minnesota Wild, which is the first home game with fans at T-Mobile Arena this pandemic season.

All fans will be assigned a suggested entry time to help maintain social distancing when entering the arena and once inside the venue fans will be encouraged to remain in their seat when not using bathrooms or purchasing concessions. There will be a gameday email sent to each fan attending the game suggesting the entry time.

During these COVID-19 times when 500,000 Americans have lost their lives to the novel coronavirus, every fan is required to wear a mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking. Anyone older than two years old must wear a mask.

There are also no bags allowed inside the arena and this includes small purses and clutches.

The Knights also would like fans to download a health app:

When the VGK vs Wild game ends, arena announcements will advise fans on when their specific sections can leave the arena. Parking is free at the arena’s adjacent parking garages.

The Golden Knights have been playing canned crowd noise without fans during the first 11 home games, but hopefully the in-game entertainment crew will stop that and let the 2,600 fans in the building create the fan noise without any added fake noise.

The in-game entertainment hosts of Mark Shunock and Katie Marie Jones have been performing their duties all along this season even without fans, along with arena PA announcer Bruce Cusick. Clint McComb and Lee Orchard, the two guys playing the mascot characters of Chance and the knight, have also been doing their hijinks performances even without the fans and they will be there Monday when the fans arrive.

And of course, Carnell Johnson, known as “Golden Pipes,” is expected to continue performing the national anthem.
